Afterpay not working for buyer on a listing with Afterpay offered

Sold an item and had Afterpay available as an option to pay so what the heck is going on Trade Me?
I can see it, why can't the buyer?
I've even added shipping, through the auction and ordered pickup, which I'm now stuck with as I can't cancel it or I'll lose my money but if the buyer can't pay then I can't very well send an item worth well over $1000.
This shouldn't be this broken...
If afterpay is a payment option then the customer should be able to use it without days of trying and it not working.

Using afterpay different buyers have different limits. This is set by Afterpay itself, rather than Trade Me.
I've had buyers who managed to contact Afterpay, get their limit lifted, then be able to purchase the item they wanted.
You could suggest that possibility to your buyer.

Also double check your Buyer's feedback page - Buyers need to have a feedback rating of at least 2 to use Afterpay.
