Request to resolve shipping fee issue
hi, I purchased two sets of 9V batteries, Reference P252373550 and P252373532, from Seller https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/member/58860 . The second item was supposed to require only an additional 50 cents for shipping, but $7.90 was withdrawn for each, so I contacted the seller. I was told that it would be processed by email on October 21 within a day, but it has not been processed yet, so I am requesting assistance to resolve it.

Kia Ora nzjee,
Have you checked your Bank account for the card you used to make the purchases from?
The refund is returned to your Bank account of the used payment card, not your Ping account. As it's now the long weekend for Labour day you may not hear back from staff till mid-late next week therefore send your Seller a reminder email or place a temporary feedback reminder, leave a message for staff through the chatbot, blue speech icon bottom right of your screen, if the payment isn't in your Bank account.
This is the Public community forum you're in, as such identifying other members is not allowed, you will have to edit your Post to remove that detail.
All the Best.

flossy63 Community SuperuserIf it was a ping refund, both parties Buyer & Seller would receive an E-Mail notification that the ping refund has been made, obviously buyer has still not received this notification, which means the refund has not been processed,2

I am well aware an email is usually sent out however there is a spate of emails not being received by members, going into spam folders and being blocked by spam at TradeMe's end - the guaranteed way is to check bank accounts. The system and email is not a reliable source. Some Members also expect the funds to turn up in their Ping account. - I've advised the OP correctly in sending their seller a reminder to process the refund and how to get assistance from staff if a refund isn't received.
