How to delete a shipping template in My Products

Have started using the shipping templates in My Products (although I do not find it very user friendly as I am unable to add anything freeform) BUT my immediate problem is that I am unable to delete a couple of unused templates. Is there a trick to this? I have deleted all the options in each but thats as far as I can go. I cant seem to be able to delete the complete option. Its not a biggy but the list of templates looks "untidy" with these unused ones listed. At present I have just named then deleted 1, deleted 2, etc.

Short answer: You can't

Slightly longer answer: As you found out you can rename it. If you put "ZZ" or similar in front of the name and it will disappear to the bottom of the list where it will effectively be hidden. They are sorted alphabetically. Then going forward, never make new ones. Just edit an existing unused one.
