New Changes with TradeMe
AnsweredI am predominantly a seller.
I am perplexed with the changes going on with my TradeMe account.
Some of my auctions when won have the usual P number, and some now have KP number. Those starting with KP - I am not able to see the bid history, nor am I able to use the iShipping app.
Can someone explain why some auctions have the old P number and some have the KP number?. It would seem that when listed those with the KP number end up at the bottom of page 1 on your Items I'm Selling (and out of chronological order) whereas those with the usual P prefix end up at the bottom of your list and in chronological order.
What I am doing/not doing to create P or KP auctions and is there any way to view what they are likely to end up as before they sell. P numbers are desired; KPs present problems.

TradeMe are gradually upgrading some of their systems to allow for a modernised secure system which can readily have further additives applied as the technical industry is moving quickly. The old system whilst good was originally set up for a one man operation, not foreseeing how large the company has become and given the tools available at that time has reached a point where the expansions required today & moving forward has become too clunky and in some parts outdated to continue adding modernised builds to. - You can read about the upgrades below...

These KP reference numbers apply to the new system whilst the P numbers apply to the old. - The New system with the KP numbers is not in it's final stage, enhancements are continuous. - If there are features which are missing that you'd like to see back you can add your voice to the growing number of Members directly through to the Tech team using the 'Tell us what you think' pop up link near the bottom of the TradeMe page you are in where you would like the feature(s) to appear, this goes to the team who look specifically into enhancements on that particular part of the system.
My Products is TradeMe's own Selling tool which is free for both casual & In-Trade Sellers and is being run through the old platform, unaffected by the upgrades and has some further useful inbuilt tools. There are many My Products users in the Community who hold a wealth of knowledge & are happy to help Members out in using this tool. - Hope this helps.
