Looks like Birthdays are no longer celebrated.
21st March 1999 is the official Trade Me Birthday, but looks like Trademe are at "that age" when these are not celebrated anymore. 2022 was the last dedicated birthday giveaway and competition Trade Me's 23rd Birthday Shout.
There was an email with a birthday sale in 2023, but no competition or anything special. The email was a bit later in the month too, which suggested it was an afterthought.
No birthday celebrations since then.

flossy63 Community SuperuserJust the same as the Certificates reaching Feedback milestones, 500. 1000, 5,000 and a T-Shirt, etc. a thing of the past, they used to encourage people to be good sellers, and work hard to earn them, now members just don't give a toss like Trade Me no longer give a toss about good members,
We and all incentives to be good sellers have now all been tossed aside in same box as all the bad members, in order for them to make more $$$ from us, and as above nothing to celebrate,

Maybe it's because TM is officially an "adult" at 25 yrs old?
Maybe TM's management has read the room, and realised if they go out "celebrating" their b'day they will get some backlash.1
