Wrong listing and categories
Hi. I was talking on the chat bot but not sure what will happen. I'm extremely frustrated by multiple listings in wrong and unrelated categories. I've often seen it and done nothing about it but enough is enough! A trader, haiwingnz with the heading 'Trade Hut' has hundreds and hundreds of listings in totally the wrong places. Sure, they are a great customer of yours with over 32000 sales but it is so frustrating scrolling through a search I have done to have so many unrelated things in there. Do something please. They are not the only company doing this and its so annoying.
Its great you can have such a specific search but when all this other crap comes up it does my head in!!
Cheers, Alistair

Kia Ora Alistair,
I hear you, this is actually the Public Community Forum and as such you will have to edit the other Member's names from your Post, identifying other Members isn't allowed here - Fine to name them to TradeMe staff in private chats outside of the forum.
The best way to inform TradeMe staff is to send a Community watch report found near the very bottom of a Listing, this way it goes direct to the right team who handle these cases.
Gary-NZStocked has written very good instructions on how to prevent Sellers Listings from your search criteria in the Help file below if this is what you would like to do in the interim.
Any way to block search results from a particular seller? – Help - Trade Me

Yes, unfortunately Trade Me seem to have largely given up on this issue. Except in the most extreme cases. Trouble is these sellers with thousands and thousands of listings use a tool to list it. That just dumps them in the closest fit category. Which can be completely wrong.
As S says all you can do is keep reporting them. Sometimes I have had more success asking the seller to fix it instead. Then again some of these big sellers don't bother acknowledging or answering any questions at all......

I mentioned on one of their items that it was in the wrong place Alistair, and the seller withdrew it. So perhaps that is the way to go. Without trawling through all their items I can't see which other ones are incorrect, but if you come across any that bother you it seems the seller is willing to do something about it when informed.
