Why am I being charged 25cents for Scheduled end date when using Sell Similar
Why am I being charged 25cents for Scheduled end date when using Sell Similar?? This is very misleading - I am NOT selecting a scheduled end date yet 25 cents goes to be charged. This has occurred on a number of occasions and I have now given up using Sell Similar !! Now I start listing my posts all from scratch which takes forever. This is just one of the myriad of issues I have had in the last few months. Trade Me how much revenue are you collecting from this obvious fault? - The Commerce Commission would be very interested in this - lucky I am noticing the charge and opting out but how many people do not notice ?? To re iterate this charge is appearing when I am NOT selecting a scheduled end date. I have a screen shot example.

Hello shipnon. Setting your problem aside there is a way to avoid it (and get free scheduled listings if you did want to use that)
Using Trade Me's free listing tool My Products will speed up all your listing processes and offer you free scheduled listings.
You have quite a few listings so it would definitely be worth your time looking into it. You can create a whole new listing on one page, rather than going through multiple pages like you do the standard way. My Products also automates the FPO and relisting processes so you can set and forget all your items.
One thing you can check when there are problems around times on Trade Me is to make sure the time and date on your device are correct and set to update automatically.

Kia Ora shipnon,
Yes! this fault was recorded for TradeMe a couple of weeks back with screenshots included, - Sorry to read it's still happening. - Send your screenshots of all affected Listings into staff using the 'Contact us' at the bottom of most pages for reimbursement. - Cheers.

Thank you for your response. I have had a look at My Products and it appears it is for Businesses ( I don't want Trade Me to think I am a Business when I am not ) I have used Trade Me successfully for 15 plus years and all these changes they have made recently have in no way been an improvement for their existing customers. Also it appears that whilst I have had major issues in the last few months, my friend continues to operate their trade me account with no issues what so ever. Why are some having huge problems whilst others can carry on as usual. I feel any issue raised with Trade me is just met with a reply of "check this, check that" and they are not taking on board the issue !!

I have not been overcharged because I have noticed and relisted through "Start a new Listing" as my message said !!! Other than this being a SERIOUS fault, how many people are not noticing this fault, relisting, getting charged 25 cents and Trade Me then has their money (which they should never have been charged) - Thousands probably!! No different to Supermarkets pricing things incorrectly and we all know the ramifications to Supermarkets once the Commerce Commission got involved.

Anyone can use My Products. Casual or business. There can be a small learning curve but once you're on board you might wonder why you didn't try it years ago :) It's especially good for your clothes listings. Once you've made one listing you can duplicate that and just change the things the need to be. It's like sell similar but even easier.
To explain why your friend might not have issues, some people have been moved across to the new system, some people are on the old system, and some people have a mix of the two.

Kia Ora shipnon,
I'm a Member same as you, I'm not Trademe staff, - It's confusing I know. - When TradeMe respond their badge tag will state TradeMe & the Team they are from as below...

My Products is a free listing tool for both Casual & In-Trade Members to use.
Pointing out how to get reimbursed for any charges accrued incorrectly is beneficial for other Members who come across your Post - the last Post which showed all the screenshots for staff has been removed. - It would be beneficial if you send staff the screenshot you have incase it differs from those already provided.
Members using My Products and TradeMe Stores are currently unaffected by the changes being made in the New System - The upgrades are being rolled out in stages therefore not all Members will be affected by or noticing all changes as yet depending on which Category they are Listing their items in. - Cheers.
