Search function - default location

Hi is there a way to make my searches default to "Hamilton Waikato" instead of "All" and having to go in and change the location every single time I go onto the app to do a search?? I know that's the whole purpose of having a filter in place, so you can select different options, but just wondered if there was a way to set a default location.

S Community SuperuserKia Ora Shan, unfortunately there isn't a way to set a default location yet - it is something that has been requested and discussed - even passed over to the correct TM team to look into though no change has been implemented to date. Maybe if enough upvotes are added to your Post this can be raised with pace and, fingers crossed, implemented - Numbers do count here on the upvotes - Cheers.

Gary-NZStocked Community SuperuserShan, in the app you can save a search to your favourites along with the location setting. If you wanted to, you could do a search for (press space bar once) then set your search location, then save that search and set it to not email you results. It's then quick and easy to select that saved search from your favourites at any time and type in your new search word(s) with it keeping the location set for you. Much less clicks than having to do the multiple clicks location filter on the app.

Agree! I want to set my own default search location.

Rather annoying having to filter by location every. single. time i do a search. Thanks Gary for the workaround. Inspired by this workaround, i've made a bookmark on my desktop browser of a blank search already filtered by location. So when i want to buy something locally on TM i will click the bookmark, which bypasses the TM homepage, so i can do my product search already filtered by location.
