Courier quotes incorrect

The $11.20 is correct for NZ Post within Island, $9.25 is for Aramex,
also when you got your quote you may have got it for Best Price the cheapest between the couriers, as there is an arrow for drop down options, so if you only use NZ Post you need to get Quotes just for NZ Post,

in this case, I'm afraid you made an error and are booking a different courier than you quoted, you need to pay the difference,
the buyer formed a contract with shipping cost you had on the auction, otherwise you just have to book with Aramex, the Quote you had on auction,
next time remember to select your preferred Courier,

I had that change happen to Me a couple of times too. It's not your fault. It's the way TradeMe has changed the way to do the Courier Booking and you can't just type in your own Courier Company, and have to put Nth Is, Sth Is, NZ ... I have had shipping costs change because their was a different price between top of the South Island and lower down near Dunedin, and same with up North. Plus Company prices go up and don't inform people so you need to do a "dummy address" practise to get a price when making a listing, just to check if they've changed again : (

Flossy63 is incorrect. I only use Aramex and it's never the same amount.

I am sorry, but I am correct, here are some Screen shots for same size parcel with both carriers, I checked my facts above before I posted my comment,
Any Price Option

Aramex Option,

and NZ Post Option

Flossy63 the problem is that is the price now. When the auction sells and the person actually pays it can be a totally different price depending on their location and the day you are booking on. Ive had this issue for the last year. The only way I get around it is over quoting the postage and refunding as required. It may work for you like your example but there are plenty of us out there that it is not.

flossy63 Community SuperuserMy main courier is Aramex, I have no issues, and I courier hundreds of Parcels,I do not know why you have Issues?, But because you are having Issues, does not make me Incorrect at all, I have provided Screen shots above, showing my statement further back up is indeed correct,All my Courier bookings are pretty consistent, But yes there can be variations between locations like within South Island, which is normal, I have set shipping to cover all, I do not use the Trade Me templates, as they are a Quote/ Guide only, not firm prices as differ for some addresses, and no matter what the day is always the same, day after day, so do not know why they differ on different days on the day you book?, I never heard of that happening before,If you have issues like you say I suggest you contact Trade Me,1

I have contacted them. They admitted that it is an issue and to ask the buyer to cover the difference in postage cost.

So if you have already contacted them, why come here and say I am Incorrect, when I am not,
why did you not mention that above that you had already contacted Trade Me, who said there is an Issue?,
why not mention that above?, instead of wasting our time trying to help you?, when Trade Me have already advised you there is an Issue? That does not effect all of us?

Because you told that person that what happened was their fault and that they should be responsible when that is not the case.

In that Scenario, it was clearly their error, the seller, as example screen shots above they selected the Any best price which is the default, and not the Courier they actually intended to use, Which I did point out,
It was the sellers error in that scenario, so they need to pay the difference, It was not a Trade Me error, They need to check they have selected the correct shipping option, but it was the default to best price, because they had not selected the one they intended to use at all,
