Sold but not full payment
AnsweredHi, a buyer bought an item, however didn't acknowledge that they had chosen the 'city' option for courier rather than 'rural') their address is rural when I went to book a courier. I didn't go on to book the courier, emailed (x3 over a week) the buyer regards their mistake (its a $4 difference, not big but then it's taking my profit margin) and then I get an email from them that they have paid, the 'city' courier option.
What suggestions as to what I could do........one the one hand just go ahead and send the item, on the other hand (I'd like to reimburse them the $) and just wait, another week and see what happens..but then what happens...haha..
Thanks in advance

Lol Kia Ora Andrew, it's great to hear you're laughing :o)
My best recommendation is to grab the sale while you have it mate!
I would reply asking them for the city address they would like it sent to - with a bottom note of Otherwise for rural delivery I am happy to do for you if you can please make the $4.00 extra rural delivery charge payment to my Bank account so I can organise shipping as soon as it clears.
If the response is too difficult, as you have payment hang onto the sale mate & send anyway - the spirit of the season an all - Best of Luck - Cheers,

Hi there. Shipping addresses are a funny thing. Some look like rural delivery, but aren’t and vice versa. Just run their address through www.addresscheck.co.nz - you might find a courier company that you could easily use that classifies your buyers address as urban.
If not, I would give them the option of providing an urban address or paying the rural delivery surcharge. S is kinder than me. Even though it’s Christmas, I wouldn’t send the item until you have the received the correct shipping payment. It sends the wrong message and Santa doesn’t deliver presents to naughty boys and girls ;)2 -
Thanks, I have emailed them x3 times now, and I tend to agree with Andrea at the moment! The address is rural too after checking, for the second time!
