Authentication code
AnsweredI have just got a new phone and when I went to sign in to TradeMe I could not remember my password so reset it. An email was sent with the reset link which I did but when I tried to log in a message came up saying to enter the authentication code that was emailed to me, no email with the code ever arrived so I cannot proceed or log in. I signed in on my pc (where I am sending this from) and used the new password word to sign in with no troubles and was not asked for an authentication code but my phone is stuck waiting for the code to be emailed so I can go nowhere. What can I do to get the code or get around this? Any help greatly appreciated.

Ensure you clear any saved passwords you may have on your Browser or Device / Password Manager first.Exit your App altogether rather than just closing it down, if this doesn't allow you to sign in via the App once you reopen it delete the App & Reinstall it.If you still haven't received an email code & still can't Login via the App you will want to contact TradeMe staff direct for assistance,To contact a staff member if you select 'Contact us' at the very bottom of any TradeMe page the Live Chat Bubble will Pop up in Blue at the bottom Right of your Landing page screen, enter in the Chat Bot Talk to person below the Bot text suggestions, next to the paperclip icon, to be transferred through to the staff line.The Live Chat manned hours weekdays are 8:00am - 5:30pm and weekends 9:30am - 4:pm- Cheers0 -
