how to request an item be relisted that wasnt on watchlist after auction ends?

If you can get to the original closed item. (Try a google search or search expired listings) then you can request a relist yourself. 

Also save the seller as a favourite and you will be emailed if they list it (or anything else) 

the trouble is that I found the action 12hrs after closing so its not on my lost list to request unfortunately. 
I did save them to my favorites incase they relist at a latter date.

If you select the closed Listing to bring it up does it have the Request a relist &/Or Fixed price Offer there? - Cheers.

no it doesnt, I found the listing on Google search for the item, Only the auction had ended 12hrs earlier :-( , which means it wasnt on my watchlist, usually this is when those options are displayed.

When Listings close the 2 options to request are available on the closed Listing if the Seller has chosen to add them, this is how anyone outside of TradeMe can select either option through the Google searches. - Always worth a look if you haven't yet - Cheers.

If you can let us know the auction listing number, 10 digit number starting with 5, we could check it out and see if we can request a relist. 

Hi there, could i please request listing number 5784428654 is relisted? I have the same issue where I did not have it on my watchlist before it closed (and did not sell) and I cannot see an option to request relist. Thank you!

Sorry we don't have the option to request a relist on that Listing either, as the Seller has no other listings running, which would have allowed you to ask them directly through the Q&A section on one of those, your best option is to add the Seller to your Favourites so you are emailed daily with any new or relisted items they start so you can interact with them. - All the Best.
