Accepted offer buyer wont contact

Hi im not sure if this has been covered, but couldnt find it anywhere. I had a car listed as a classified and a buyer made an offer which i accepted. But hes only sent me one email and ive had no replies since (i have sent about 4, even gave him my phone number, its been 4 days) but i feel as though ive been ghosted. How do i go through the process of relisting my car and making sure he doesnt kick up a stink is there a proper chanel to go through to do this i do this or do i just send him another email and then relist my car. Thank you.

Hello Maaike. Can you confirm you have withdrawn your classified or has it just closed, awaiting relist?

Well because I have accepted the offer it has closed as "sold" so not sure on my next move as officially it has sold to this guy but since I have had no contact I assume hes not interested anymore.

I see. In that case, if it's in your sold folder you should be able to request your fees back.

Trade Me expects contact in 2 days, and payment in 7. So you could start that process. That will also generate an email to the buyer from Trade Me to remind them of their obligations.

Kia ora Maaike, sorry to hear your buyer hasn't followed through. You can go to your listing in your sold folder and on the right there's a box "If the sale falls through" where you can apply for success fee refunds or relist. If there is nowhere to apply for a success fee refund and your listing closed within 45 days, check your My Trade Me account and if there is a success fee charged, get in touch with the team for help.
