Counter offer option missing

In an offer after an auction (when an item has been offered back to you) there is only an accept or reject option.
With the listing still live, if the seller has allowed the make an offer option then this has a counter option available. If it works as it should that is. For the last year thats a 50/50 chance with TMs updates which have screwed with everything.

Hello Mark and Mel. Yes, as per the help file, but I get that for some reason many tend to not read that. 

The key words are there in blue. "Upgrading our system"
It means we have broken our system and don't know how to fix it. Instead of just reverting back to the desktop version where everthing worked properly, they prefer to let everyone suffer.
This is not my first TM account, have been selling on TM for over 25 years, it's never been as broken as it is right now. Most of the time the live auction "make an offer" does not work properly. And the " offer to watchers" after the auction closes only works some of the time, the rest of the time it's the old "upgrading our systems message". If you have the updating message on any of your listings, might as well end it early and rewrite it as it's doomed for problems.... No buyer address, no seller bank details, no picture edits, no offers, no relist, no buynow just to nane a few

So… it is broken. Frustrating!
The buyer has indicated he was happy for me to counter offer and he’d accept. The option to counter was not there so fish off the hook.
Grrr

The make an offer in live auctions has never worked properly since they started it. You are better off asling a question, neg a price and getting the seller to change the buynow

You can put a Sellers Comment on the Listing or Edit the Listing itself stating you are unable to make Counter Offers on this particular Listing. - Leaving a Sellers Comment to your previous Offer person stating an amount difference you would be happy to Accept, for example $50. more - please feel free to make another Offer with that amount included & I am happy to Accept the offer. -  Remember not to state the Member's name though rather 'To my previous Offer Member.' -  All the Best!

Hi, found this thread. The same thing has just happened on 2 of my listings - no counter offer option, only accept or decline, no ability to negotiate. I am also unable to edit the listing to include a sentence in the description about not being able to counteroffer! Any idea why this is happening? It is losing sales for TM (and sellers)

So frustrating! I am missing counter offer . I’m Also missing sell similar. I need to find a new platform . It is so bad.. and I’ve loved using it in the past.
