Cannot access trade me
The last few days, when I try to access Trade Me, I get the message "This site cannot be reached, it may be temporarily down or has moved etc"
I receive daily listings of music gear etc, but now cannot open any of these listings either.
I cannot access Trade Me on my laptop, whereas I can on my mobile phone.
Any suggestions, please? (Kindly keep it simple for me)

Thank you for your reply to my query. I tried that procedure, nominating the last 7 days. Tried to log in to TM but still the message "This site is unavailable etc.
Never had anything like this before so I am unsure what to do next. Maybe tomorrow or being a holiday Tuesday may bring a solution.
Many thanks
Michael

S Community SuperuserThanks Michael,You can try doing a hard reset - press the Ctrl key & the F5 key at the same time incase something is blocked there.Should that not work, to contact a staff member directly for assistance if you select 'Contact us' at the very bottom of any TradeMe page the Live Chat Bubble will Pop up in blue at the bottom Right of your Landing page screen, enter in the Chat window Talk to person below the Bot text suggestions, next to the paperclip icon, to be transferred through to the staff line. The Live Chat manned hours weekdays are 8:00am - 5:30pm and weekends 9:30am - 4:pmTomorrow, being 2 June 2025 Kings Birthday, you may find the manned hours are 9:30 - 4:pmAfterhours you can leave a detailed message through the same path and a staff member will email you back during manned business hours. - Cheers.0

Kia Ora Jennie,
The issue you have reported is completely different to that of this Post & therefore should be in a separate Post as it is non related. - Members will have different experiences depending on where our Listings fall in the upgrade process & how we are connecting or attempting to connect to the site - Cheers.
EDIT: - I am currently using the Desktop site MS Edge Browser & don't have the problem you have encountered.

Thank you for all the messages from Customer Support regarding my recent inability to log in to Trade Me in any capacity over the last few days.
I realise now that if I had completed a "copy and paste", this might have been solved earlier.
Part of every message I was receiving contained the following:
ERR_QUIC_PROTOCOL_ERROR
I now understand this to be an error in Google Chrome and must give credit to the website hostinger.com for providing a simple solution to repair this. How this all came about, I have no idea, although I suspect a recent "Windows Update" might have been involved, but that's just a guess on my part.
