Where's Trade Me's chat function?
AnsweredI've been round and round this site on my ph in desktop mode and can't find it.
I wanted to chat w a human about ensuring I get a refund on fees after a trade fell over.
I have filed a request via a drop down menu, but wanted to ask TM directly how someone w 65% positive feedback still has an active a/c.
I also put 'chat' in the search bar in tbis community and it didn't pop up.
Anyways, appreciate if someone could oblige and I will screenshot it for next time.

Sorry you've got lost trying to find the Live Chat,
There are various situations in which Members can find themselves in very low feedback status, depending on how many Trades they've had overall vs how many were negative. - TradeMe do guide some Members around how to uplift their feedback status.

To contact TradeMe staff through "Live Chat" for assistance, If you select the Contact us Link at the very bottom of any TradeMe page the Chat Tab will Pop up in blue at the bottom right of your landing page screen. - Enter in the Chat bot which comes up once opened in a New conversation - Talk to person - and you are taken to entering a few details before arriving at the window to Chat with a Real Person/Staff.The Live Chat manned hours weekdays are 8:00am - 5:30pm and weekends 9:30am - 4:pm- Cheers.2 -
thank you, I couldn't find the chat function in desktop mode it using my ph, but managed to following the link you posted, using my tablet.

I have paid 79 dollars to Trade me as a commission on a skateboard which sold for 1000 dollars. The buyer will not contact me after several tries. He says his dog died however still wanted the skateboard and was going to pay half last week. This has not happened. Do i lose my 75 dollars or will trade me make this person pay as i am sure they are obligated to.
