Contacting a seller after auction finished unsold

Kia Ora Shaun,
It's upto a Seller if they want to send a Fixed Price Offer out after a Listing closes unsold or if they Relist the item. - TradeMe don't get involved in this side of things. - If you enter the closed item you may even have the option to request either a FPO or Relist - if not check if the Seller has any other Live Listings running you could put a request through on - if not you can save the Seller to your Favourites so you are emailed a daily list of their New & Relisted items so you catch the Listing coming back through. - All the Best! - Cheers.

I am trying to contact a seller who had a 'listing' as opposed to an 'auction'. The listing expired and I can't access it at all (I didn't know that it is unlike 'auctions' where you can still access it after it has closed). Any advice?

Kia ora Chelsea, the advice above from S is bang on, check if the seller has any other listings and ask a question on one, or save them as a favourite seller to be notified of their new listings. Good luck!

Problem is, if the seller has no other listings it makes it impossible to contact, Trademe needs to bring back personal/private messaging again.
There’s probably many sales trademe are missing out on where a deal can be brokered after an auction….0
