Buyer pulled out so I need to relist - how to change description??
Re #5231516125
After 3 weeks the buyer decides he does not want (!!!) and so I need to re-list, but now the description is out of date and needs to be updated - but for some reason I cant.
AND btw, TradeMe, your instruction of "Under 'If the sale falls through', select relist this item." doesn't exist now so no help there.

Hello Rochelle. How do you mean you can't change the description? Are you getting an error message of some kind? Generally you would relist it, then edit it.
Or are you saying you can't relist it at all?

Well as I'm gong through the relist process, the description is greyed-out so i can't edit. I don't want to go right through the re-list and discover i can't edit the description. I just can't rely on TradeMe to be sure.

S Community SuperuserKia Ora Rochelle,As the upgrades progress through the system many functions & features are not available which has created a large upset with normal trading - In the meantime if you can't use the Sell Similar you are best to copy and paste your unsold Listings into New Listings where you can change the fields you wish to, - Members who were Bidding & watching your unsold Listings may have saved you to their Favourites enabling them to receive a daily email of your New Listings so they can catch these as you List them again.Members are also being introduced to the 'My Products' Listing tool which is TradeMe's own Free Listing tool and retains the usual Features untouched by the upgrade at this stage. The Tool can be used by both In-Trade & Casual Sellers & has many user friendly features which are currently unaffected by the upgrades, it also comes with extra Features not available to the usual Listing Process like Listings don't fall off the system at 45 days, you can set auto Fixed price offers & auto Relists to mention a few. - Whilst it doesn't suit all Members there are many experienced Members who hold a wealth of knowledge in My Products who are happy to help get you started. - Cheers.Reference: Selling tools – Help - Trade Me0
