Funds not appearing in Ping?
AnsweredHi All,
Anyone else experienced funds not turning up in your Ping Account from a Ping only Tradme sale. I have received the Trademe email stating the buyer has paid via Ping and the amount of the sale plus freight. Ping's been very reliable until this hiccup.
thx

The only time that's happened to me was for an expensive item sold to a newish buyer where Trademe had to do some extra security checks with the buyer before they released the funds to my Ping account. If it's something to ship, don't send until you see the funds in your Ping account, just in case there is an issue.

Kia Ora Steve,
If the Ping payment is on Hold whilst security checks are carried out you should receive an email from TradeMe letting you know it is on hold & not to send the goods yet, you receive another email when the payment is cleared letting you know to ship the goods.Have a check through your emails for one from TradeMe - check your spam/junk email folders also. - If no email is there ask the Buyer to send you Confirmation of the Ping payment made.TradeMe will occasionally hold a payment whilst they check to ensure the payment is legitimate which may include a New Member's credentials, if the sum is for a larger amount, if the Buyer has entered a new card, if the Buyer's name doesn't match the card associated with their Ping Bank account Or when unusual activity has been noted etc. - There are a number of reasons whilst checks are made though these are actioned fairly quickly once the information TradeMe have requested has been supplied. - Cheers.0
