Can't sort by used in industrial category

Over the recent months/years it seems like the ability to filer categories in the industrial sections by used items has been removed. Any idea why this is? It used to work and still works at a high level in the business farming and industrial category, but when drilled down to for example the Industrial > Generators section then the ability to filter by used is gone. 

Any ideas how to get this option back?
