I have an item on my watchlist that I can't bid on

It's likely a Bug in the Make an Offer feature which closes an accepted offer though isn't removing it to the Lost folder. - There have been a few reports of this now.

You are best to contact TradeMe staff through "Live Chat" for assistance, If you select the Contact us Link at the very bottom of any TradeMe page the Chat Tab will Pop up in blue at the bottom right of your landing page screen. - Enter in the Chat bot which comes up once opened in a New conversation - Talk to person - and you are taken to entering a few details before arriving at the window to Chat with a Real Person/Staff. - Enter your Listing number in the Chat window here enabling staff to pull it up readily.

thanks for that. The site seems to be broken in many different ways. I know the seller so might just ask him directly. Trade Me obviously know about the bugs but can't fix them?

Kia ora Andrew, thanks for this example, this is related to a bug with Make an Offer. S is right, there have been a few other mentions on Community, I'll make note of them as they come up, and have added your example.

Thank you, - if we run a search on the item Title we get the option to add these to our watchlist even though there's no watchlist once in the actual Listing. - When the Original Listing length is up they don't go to Lost items. - Cheers.

I'm getting on an auction "This listing is not able to be bid on in this version of Trade Me." and can only see the bid option from my notification menu and not from the website. It says its closed but the date is the future and its still registers as being a valid auction to bid on however on the page itself you cannot see any bid or buy now options

Kia ora S, our tech team is investigating an issue with the new system where some listings aren't showing in Lost after they've closed. If you have the listing number, you can pop it in the search bar to bring up the closed listing.

Yes! Thank you, I was giving you an example above to help with the investigation & have since emailed full details in - This is the 'Make an Offer' closed Listing which is still Live on a search & can be added to the watchlist even though it's closed as purchased. - Cheers.😊

Is that Listing the only one you are getting that message <quote>  "This listing is not able to be bid on in this version of Trade Me." <unquote> on? - Let us know if you are getting the same message on further items / Listings. - Cheers.

I cannot open an item on my watchlist. This occurred shortly after I made an offer on the item
