Bank transfer option not available from checkout
AnsweredI have tried to purchase something using the checkout system. I am on my desktop using Chrome as a browser. After I add my details and click the Purchase button it squawks about I have not selected a payment option. No where do I find a Direct Bank transfer field.
When I select the 'Buy Now' button from the item's web page it works by sending an email with payment instructions as it always has in the past.

Hello Mike. If I am understanding you correctly here that could be simply because the seller hasn't added their bank details to the automated payment instructions system. It's optional. Some sellers (I don't know why) send payment instructions via a separate email after the auction has closed.
Some sellers don't have bank details at all. They prefer all purchases to be made with Ping. So you won't get a Direct Bank Transfer field there either.

S Community SuperuserKia Ora Mike,By check out system do you mean by using the Cart? - the cart can only be used with Listings offering Ping as the/a payment option on Buy Now Listings.The Cart is designed to pay multi Sellers at one time which payment by Ping can do instantly - Bank transfers require individual payment(s) to be made off site. - Cheers.0

Thx for the prompt response. Yes I tried to purchase the products via the cart orginally as instructed by the seller. It was a bit confusing. I did complete the transaction using the "Buy Now" button.
Perhaps this posting will help others with their transactions in the future1 -
