Email reminder not working
I can't seem to be able to set a permanent email reminder with a listing I'm watching. I tick the one I want (i.e. 24 hours before closing) and then tick "Always use this option". But as soon as I leave the page, the setting goes back to "None". So, I miss all notifications/offers, because I don't receive reminders. Thanks for your help.

Kia Ora Alta,
Refer to Post: What's happened to my watchlist & reminders? – Help - Trade Me
Callum has provided very clear instructions which has rectified the issue of receiving email notifications for a few others - Cheers.

I read Callum's instructions. However, there is no option visible to me that says "Apply these settings to items currently on my Watchlist". There is only "Always use this option". I tick my time preference, I then tick, "Always use this option". But when I leave the page, the my reminder setting goes back to "None".

Kia Ora Alta,
You will find Callum's diagram on the Desktop site of TradeMe - if you are using one of the Apps type TradeMe.co.nz into your device Browser to go to the Desktop site - Select My TradeMe > Settings in the Left hand side banner menu > scroll down to "Update email preferences.' > Scroll down the page to 'When I add something to my Watchlist email me a reminder' - Cheers.

This feature worked fine for decades and is now completely broken. It is saving me money as I now longer get a warning that auction is closing soon so don't bid.
Yes, I have found all the settings mentioned and it pretends to work, but ultimately all new auctions added will be set to 'none' and will pretend to change when set, but when checked they remain as 'none'.
I am really surprised Trade Me has not fixed this as it will be losing money them due to reduced sale prices when people miss an auction close.

Yep agree with David. One now has to constantly check and reset the setting. Very annoying.
