Amending Courier Charge after bid placed
AnsweredTwo people have pointed out that the courier charges on one of my listings are way over what they should be. I tried but the site won't let me recalculate them. It appears this is because someone has placed a bid.

Correct. When you think about it it is obvious why. I could set something up with a $1 shipping charge, then change it to $100 just before it closes with bids and catch people out.
You have 3 options.
1. Do nothing but explain in the comments section that the shipping charge will actually be less
2. Remove the bid. Then you CAN change it. If you do that it pays to again mention in the comments that that is what you have done. So the bidder doesn't wonder why their bid was removed. I would say something like "xxxx I have removed your bid to lower the shipping charge. You are welcome to bid again now if you like"
3. Withdraw the auction and relist it with the correct shipping charge.
