How do I find a member on trade me

There is a search box on the profiles page if you know their membername Trade Me Member Profiles | Trade Me and there is also an option on the desktop site at the bottom of the browse dropdown list to search members. The search only works on 100% correct names that you input, so not really a search, but a go to.

Unfortunately the above solution no longer works since the website has been 'upgraded'. I used to use this feature regularly to find members, and also for past listings. Is it still possible to search for either of these anywhere?

Kia ora Ange, here's a link to the member profiles page, you might want to bookmark it so it's easy to find.  Alternatively from your My Trade Me page, click on My profile and that will take you to the old Trade Me profile page. From here click 'Community' along the top and select 'view Community' from the drop down. 

Thank you Michelle, that was helpful...though now it's very obscure. I also just found the 'search expired listings' dropdown function on this older page too, which I find so useful.  Will this older part of the website remain, or eventually be removed too?
