Funds sent to closed bank account

Hi Josko. The funds will automatically bounce back to the receiver. You say it was Trade Me? Was this a Ping payment you had transferred?

If you mean it was just a buyer who transferred it ask them to repay to the correct account when they get the money back. It always used to take a few days but things might have sped up now along with other bank processing times.

It might just automatically bounce back to your Ping account. I would wait a few days to see if it does. If it doesn't appear again you should contact Trade Me directly.

If you haven't already sent the item to the buyer you should probably do that. The money will be safe, just hopping around out there somewhere.

And of course, you have probably already done this, but don't forget to update your bank account to the correct one.
