Not checking Feedback
made the mistake of buying a cheap drive belt of a seller in aussie
their feed back rating 67.6%
102 positives
3 neutral
45 negatives
4,599 listings
What a dumbass I am , should have supported local and checked feedback, its only 25 bucks but now I can guarantee this will now go back and forth over weeks wasting lots of time when the belt doesn't show up waiting for a refund
but hey Ill stay positive I haven't seen Aramex mentioned yet for delivery so that's a plus
Not sure what the cut off is before feedback gets you banned , the sellers history is really sour from the beginning so its not like its bad feed back all at once

HI Scott. It would probably be worth giving Trade Me a nudge about that seller. You could either Community Watch any other auctions they have running or contact them via Live Chat.
If you didn't already know don't forget the 30 day limit to open a dispute. Sometimes people get caught out not opening one in time. Especially with international sellers where shipping can take longer anyway.
I think they allow International sellers a bit more wriggle room with feedback. A lot of the time the bad feedback can be people who didn't realise they were buying from offshore, and expected delivery in a day or 2.

well I have put a refund request in , no tracking or communication at all from the seller , looks like when you click on the sellers feed back I get a message on the page
" This membership has been closed. Feedback on this member is not available "
what's strange is you can still click on the current listings and it looks like you can still purchase ?
I didn't go as far as to add to cart so maybe it blocks you when you go to hand money over
very strange format

one thing to add , is there a way to check the dispute has been logged? , in my requests it shows nothing , I'm hoping I completed the info properly and dont want to resubmit as this may slow the refund down.

Hello Scott. You should have an email there confirming the dispute, and a note next to the item in question on your "won" page to show a dispute is in progress.
