Why can't I find option for Multiple-quantity listings (MQLs)?
For some reason I don't seem to be able to find or see the option for Multiple-quantity listings (MQLs). From what I have read I thought it would be visible at the Price & Payment stage of making a new listing, when you choose a Buy Now price but I can't see it. Can anyone help? Thanks.

MQL Listings have to be created on the Desktop site, the Apps don't have the full function of the Desktop site as yet as they were initially designed for the quick Browse, Sell & Buy -
I can confirm I have just been through to create a New Listing as a trial for you and the MQL is Live on the Desktop Price & Payment page - I am using the MS Edge Browser - Cheers.

Thanks for that response. The quantity option is not appearing on my screen under "More options", whether I use Chrome or Edge. Weird!

Ensure your Browser is running the Latest up to date versionClear your cookies & cache.If the MQL option is still missing after this for you, run a dummy Listing through a different category to see if it's category specific.0 -
I cleared the browser cache and cookies. No difference.
I ran a dummy listing (car stereo) and the listing process takes you through different screens, and it offered me the MQL option.
So what now? :)

If the Listing is for a car stereo it has to be Listed through the Car parts & accessories category - MQL Listings are Buy Now auctions only therefore if you've included a Start &/Or Reserve price this would explain why the MQL option doesn't show.

I haven’t included a Start &/or Reserve Price. I have entered the Buy Now price but the quantity option is not visible. What do we try next?

I think it is category specific. I set up a dummy listing in my preferred category (books). The quantity option didnt show. I went back a few steps and changed the category to kids clothing, and the quantity option shows. I changed the category back to books and it disappears.

Yes! Books was one of the first categories to undergo the upgrade process slowly being rolled out across the platform and it encountered alot of issues therefore TradeMe staff may have a possible workaround for this which Book Sellers in the Community may be aware of also.
One possible workaround is to use the My Products Listing tool in the interim which is TradeMe's own product and it's available for both In Trade & Casual Sellers. - You would just put your stock number in the Listing field.

Hopefully another Member can provide further clarification for you otherwise you can contact TradeMe staff direct for an update/workaround through their "Live Chat" facility which will be manned again from 8:am tomorrow 2 October 2024.
