My items being sold and im shut out
If a person takes my items and agrees to sell them in his trading account for me but ends up blocking me and taking the money and the rest of my items what legal comeback do I have?
He created a dispute with me to get him angry at me and threaten to block me , he said he would withdraw the auctions at his cost and return my items on Saturday. He carried on with the auctions and has made a considerable amount but has blocked and shut me out of any communication for 3 days now.
I am fine to split the takings 50/50 but he has over 60 items of mine and has already sold over 18 items thru auctions. How do i legally get my items and money off him?

Sounds like something you would need to pursue through legal avenues. Police would probably tell you it's a Civil matter. Technically they would be correct. You willingly gave the items to them to sell, rather than them stealing them. So you would need to go through the Disputes Tribunal.
I assume you have their address? Why don't you just go and door knock? Retrieve the remaining items and give them a "please explain" for the missing cash and blocked messages.

I have all the evidence of him agreeing to pay me the money he received for the sales , but he only listed some items, hes obviously sold the better more rarer items privately. I dont know where he lives hes a pro scammer. Hes been convicted 491 times in 25 years and 19 jail terms. How can this guy have a Trademe account
His account name isnt what his real name actually is.
I received 1 week a text saying ill get all the money , cos he doesnt want anything to do with me, playing the victim that i wasnt happy with the $1 reserves. Next week he says ill get my cut , so theres another change in his rhetoric. He then blocked me for 3 weeks and I finally got a reply saying i was threatening him and I will be seeing his mates soon. And 3 days later a text stating tht I never mentioned to him I wanted money for my items he took. He is now claiming i GIFTED them to him. Hes obviously done this before but with 491 convictions not exactly successful. He charmed his way into helping me and claimed he has been in the auction and antiques game all his life. I know he should get more jail time for this. I will be taking him to court. Not sure what I can do really. If he gets the court summons etc Is he sending his " mates" over?
Im sick of being the victim and doing nothing. Im going to finally stand up to these people who make the law abiding peoples life hell.1 -
