Retaliatory Bad Feedback from Buyer who decided to cancel the deal
What can you do about retaliatory feedback from a buyer who purchased some skis then wanted to cancel the trade as they said they had found another item that was cheaper than my listing? This was her email: “Hi there, I am so sorry but I was hoping to please withdraw my acceptance of your fixed price offer as I have found another pair of skis for cheaper and closer to home in ChCh to pickup. Let me know if there’s any issues with this. Thanks, Jess”. I tried to reason with her politely. Initially she had asked if we could hold onto the skis for her after the auction until she could come and pick them up in the Q&As. We had said we would. Then after she purchased the skis, she asked for a freight price then sent another email refusing point blank to complete the trade stating that the transaction was at an end before I could even obtain a freight price. Realising this transaction was going nowhere, I requested a Success fee refund posted feedback, which in my opinion fairly described the transaction. She then posted a very nasty and untruthful negative feedback. Does Trademe ever remove feedback in these situations?

Hi Janet. Yes. You ask Trade Me to review and remove the feedback. All the info you need is in the help file
