Where has the Calculate Shipping button gone
Aaargggh. The calculate shipping button has vanished. It was such a brilliant feature and it's gone. HELP.
OK, so I listed an item on the new look website and all worked ok until I got to shipping. I used to be able to let people know how much shipping would be, now I can't.
Plus, it means that PayNow by Ping doesn't work anymore as it needs to know shipping costs.
Disaster. These were the only two useful changes in the last decade.

For someone I know the ability to select and quick relist multiple auctions at once is gone with the new look. Can only do one at at time. How many mouse clicks is that. For one page of relisting, 100 +. Yeah, nah.
My Products is too much for them and removing that functionality is just weird. Don't they want the little people on the site anymore?

Agree - this is a complete annoying and wasteful removal by the designers. Terrible.

I found the "Desktop site" link hidden at the very bottom of the watchlist page. It sent me on a doom loop to Account Details on, er, the new site.

I can't seem to be able to add different shipping prices ! So Annoying . I used to be able to put in the Aramex Cost and then also the NZ Post Cost, and then the rural Prices, and a seperate box for "combined" ... Now all I can do is add one price for North Island, and one Price for South Island. What is Going on ??

Agree with all the posts here, it’s a combination of annoying to unusable and I trust that it is temporary, but wish to also register my complaint about this retrograde step on being able to provide buyers with predictable shipping costs. Trademe - please let us know when this will improve again, as both buyers and sellers are sufferring.

I guess I will have to put my next lot of books for sale on hold for a while until this is fixed. Sigh...

I agree with all comments. The new look website and app seems to be a disaster and full of bugs, especially when using an Android phone. The app now doesn't work properly and using desktop on Android, half of my listings are completely missing. PLEASE put it back to how it was, there was nothing wrong with the old website.

The new look site is inaccessible so many key functions & information are removed and not able to be accessed. For selling items via my partners account we found that the new look was absolutely inaccessible so had to manage trades outside of trade me altogether and could not trust trademe even to correctly provide sales info.
The best option so far is to pray you still have access to the old style using both browser set to desktop and in the trademe site at the bottom try switching the display to desktop style. This may not work as it could also require browser cookie clearance, and restarts. Sadly also trademe often is denying access to the old functional design forcing people to "new look" regardless of the setting selection so many pages are becoming less functional with poorer information and missing information on purpose.
My recommendation is to reduce the use of trademe and to use other peer to peer secondhand traders instead as they could at least show & keep sales records, provide the basic functionality and information on sites. There are many other ones that also allow better tracking and seller protections which means both sellers and buyers are supported if disputes or errors arise.
If you are forced to use trademe then my recommendation is to not trust trade me with tracking or storing of any information. To create an external list in a text or spreadsheet file with the listing #, the contact details, the url and any relevant info like buy now, auction price, dates etc. Use a browser clicker app to automate the process of listing items from your list and keep rechecking daily over 50+ items individually using the list to cross reference them as trademe could have made them disappear from records visible to users.
It is frustrating as the old site could manage basic functionality that the new look site cannot even be bothered to show and on top of that the new look is exceptionally buggy and inaccessible & unresponsive design patterns that deliberately obstruct users.

Come on trademe, I've been using this site for 20 years and now it's a mess, where is the calculate shipping costs? Your site is less user friendly than 20 years ago - this is not an upgrade, do you want to go out of business?
