Managing Q&A
Find out about answering questions, adding comments, and having questions removed.
Questions and answers are available on Marketplace and Motors listings – for buyers to learn more about the item you're selling.
Answering a question
Questions can be answered before the listing closes
- Open the listing from Items I'm selling.
- Scroll down to 'Questions & Answers' – type your answer, then select
.
- The other member will be notified that their question has been answered.
- Go to the 'Notifications' tab alert and select Answer question – or go to 'Items I'm selling' and select Answer on the listing.
- Type your answer, then select Answer.
- The other member will be notified that their question has been answered.

- Type your answer, then select Answer.
- The other member will be notified that their question has been answered.
Adding a seller comment
If bids have been placed and the listing can't be edited, add a seller comment instead.
- Open the listing from Items I'm selling.
- Scroll down to 'Questions & Answers' – type your comment, then select

- This will show as a standalone comment in the Q&A.
- Go to 'Items I'm selling' and select the listing.
- Select
Add a comment.
- Type your comment, then select Send.
- This will show as a standalone comment in the Q&A.
- Go to 'Items I'm selling' and select the listing.

Add a comment.
- Type your comment, then select Send.
- This will show as a standalone comment in the Q&A.
After the listing closes
- Questions can't be answered once the listing has closed.
- If the item hasn't sold – relist and add the info to the description.
Removing a question
- To have a question removed from your listing, leave us a message or chat with us below.
- To prevent a buyer from asking further questions – add them to your Blacklist.
