Feedback

At the end of every auction, we encourage the buyer and seller to place feedback about each other – based on how the member was to deal with in terms of their obligations as a buyer or seller.

Feedback to the buyer 

To submit feedback on the buyer, go to 'Sold items' through 'My Trade Me', and select 'Place feedback'. 

If you’re using our apps, select ‘Sold’ from the ‘Selling’ tab.

You can place feedback up to 45 days after the auction has closed.

Editing placed buyer feedback

You can only edit or remove feedback once. 

To edit or remove feedback:

  1. Select 'Sold items' from 'My Trade Me'.
  2. Select 'Feedback placed' from the right-hand menu.
  3. Under your placed feedback, select 'delete' or 'edit'.

If you're using one of our apps, select 'Sold' from the 'Selling' tab.

Feedback to the seller

To submit feedback on the seller, go to 'Items I've won' through 'My Trade Me' and select 'Place feedback'. 

If you’re our apps, select ‘Won’ from the ‘Buying’ tab. 

You can place feedback up to 45 days after the auction has closed.

Unfair feedback
