Absolutely, I would never take that long to pay, and I've never had anyone take that long to pay, out of 200 trades. Longest ever was maybe 3 days. He refuses to transfer any money in advance because he wants to "check it's working" which is nonsense. How's he going to check a guitar pedal when we meet up at a random spot in town, is he going to bring a guitar and amp with him and shred on the footpath? And a "sale is a sale" only if they stick to trademe rules.
How does trademe define "within a week", auction ended on wednesday yesterday, and he wants to pay on thursday next week.
Seems to be gone as part of the site redesign! When is it coming back? Will I be able to retrospectively request a refund when the option comes back? This is infuriating. I'm stuck dealing with a buyer who thinks it's acceptable to insist on picking up and paying cash 7 days after the auction, that shows every sign of trouble and I'd like to cancel the sale and re-list.
