I am concernd that replica or counterfeit coins can be traded on trade me. Many of these 'coins' are gold replicas and although the seller may say the item is a replica the word 'Replica' or 'Copy' is not stamped on the 'coin'. Once the item has been purchased I can't see that there would be restrictions on the purchaser reselling the item as a genuine 'coin'. In reality it appears that Trade Me allows the trading of potential counterfeits and conterfeit coins are illegal.
