You should be able to edit shipping options to allow a pick up and tick that check-box. I did it myself just a few days ago.. just be warned that if you choose to withdraw the auction, you'll be charged a $3 withdrawal fee. Maybe close everything down and restart your device, and try again, before withdrawing. It might just be a glitch.
People don't agree with other people, all of the time, so of course a down-vote is necessary. It shows disagreement, but that shouldn't equate to having the post removed.. Voting and reporting are two different things. If a post is inappropriate, then there should be a 'report post' button.
Hi Ruth, I use Pass the Parcel and there's not a massive difference in price between urban and rural. PTP rural fee is $1.90. But for a casual seller, when every rural buyer selects urban on purpose, it quickly adds up and I couldn't let it slide anymore. One week I had about 8 people do it, and that's when I had enough, and I was able to balance it all out by just putting all shipping up by a mere $1. My urban buyers are therefore not grossly overcharged at all. Lastly, purchase price has no reflection on shipping price. I have things listed for $5, but because of the size, shipping might ...
This was happening long before the new shipping templates were brought in. I got so frustrated with the system and decided to go with one flat rate - so buyers only have ONE option to select. Problem solved. No more rural dodgers.
I have a dedicated safe spot, which is weather protected. I place my parcels in the safe spot as soon as I've booked them. If they're out overnight, so be it.. they're not going to get rain damaged or stolen. It helps that I'm up a drive, not seen by the roadside.
If you go into the Fixed Price Offer section, after your listing closes, it shows you their username. If they have auctions listed themselves, then you can contact them via the Q&A.. If they don't have any listings, you can either send them a Fixed Price Offer, or relist the item, as you have already done.
I search under 'latest listings' when I'm looking for something inparticular. Based on a 'latest listings' search, you could always shorten your listing duration.. try a 3 or 4 day listing.. that way, with each relist your listings will be back at the top of the list, under 'latest listings'.
All I do is deactivate the product in My Products. Then go into the live listing under Items I'm Selling and edit the ending time to bring it forward to the earliest time slot it allows. Simple.
Hi Lucy, I think it's great that TM are now offering to step in when there's a shortfall on buyers selecting the wrong shipping option. For courier bags, I only have two options available on my listings - urban or rural - it can't get any simpler than that right..?But lots of buyers are still selecting urban when they know they're rural.. is there any way, when a person bids or uses buy now, the system could pick up on their saved address and not allow them to select urban, unless they provide a secondary address, which is in fact urban.. it would be of great assistance to all sellers if so...
