Appreciate your help Gary. Good to get your perspective.
Look, again I ask about this? I followed the instruction above " If the purchase is from a private seller, go to your Won Items https://www.trademe.co.nz/MyTradeMe/Buy/Won.aspx click the listing title, and print that page (or print as a PDF)." This is all well and good, but it does not appear like a legitimate receipt. I don't want to print 3 pages of details for a small business expense. I just want one page with the info on it. Not sure why you cant have an actual tax receipt section. I have not made ping payments.
Thanks for that James. Appreciated. It looks like there is a maximum of 45 days to print won items from private sellers? That seems quite short. I would have hoped it went back to the start of the current tax year?
I am still a bit confused about how a self employed person should create a valid tax receipt from a Trade Me purchase. i.e. I refer to when I BUY an item and I want proof that I have purchased it for my business. What do others do? There does not seem to be a place where I can print a tax receipt anywhere? Are the details of purchase that accompany emails sufficient?
Why would you need 2 accounts though? Maybe, simply because of that?
Well you are right Gyro. He has not sold it yet at that price. Let's see

I guess so Yvonne. I don't mine competing with someone else who is buying an instrument to play it. As an idealist I wish there were a place where people could buy items without competing with traders, but I am way too naive it seems in these matters. Thanks again for your feedback.
And then I go back to his site and note that he is in fact listed as In Trade! Oh well. Thanks for the info. I now know what type of bidders to watch out for.
Thanks for feedback people. Much appreciated
