I dont understand why the seller has to pay ping and afterpay fees when there is no benefit to the seller. Surely Trademe can implement a charge to a buyers account if they want to use these facilities. Other merchants can charge a customer when paying by credit card, paywave etc so why cant trademe? I've had buyers ask for Afterpay but this is all extra cost to me for their convenience Ive had people pay by ping and then come and pick the item up. We really do have to watch when listing especially for low cost second hand items
