Partial success since I resaved my searches. I made sure I saved from the 'new look' trademe pages and I am now receiving emails for some (but not all) of my searches.
Grahame, I have no idea how to get in touch with Trademe. At the moment I am trying various options to try and get my searches reinstated. Today I deleted all the searches that don't work, verified that there are listings for them, and resaved them as 'favourite' searches. Will find out tomorrow if anything has changed. Regards, M
The searches I have saved are mostly all for specific designers in a specific category, but I do have a seller or two as well. The two that came through today are for designers in clothing. I did a manual search to check on one of my saved searches and there were many results, so in that particular case I would definitely expect an email, but have not had one for over a year. Yes I have done that and there are definitely listings that match my 'favourites', I am just not receiving emails for them.
I have about 20 searches saved as my 'favourites', but for the last few years only receive emails for about four of them. I have tried editing the frequency of the searches and resaving them in the hope of fixing the problem. The reverse happened and today I only received two emails. Is there a cap on the number of 'favourite' searches allowed? I am pretty sure that the problem is not that there is a lack of sellers' listings to report on.
