You can contact trade me to sort this out. They are available on chat at and after 10:00 a.m each day or you could write them an email to have the comments removed.
@harm_less I have stopped listing altogether. I don't have a website but i was a tiny tiny seller to begin with. If Trade me can do away with people for breaching their trust. I have returned the favour! I think they are breaching my trust. my sales as i said before ware just a tiny tiny drop in the grand scheme of things. but imagine if many people like me just didn't bother listing anymore. Calling for Karma Universe! Calling for Karma.
you could consider going to the Trade me help pages as below and click the chat icon at the bottom right (marked in red) and ask trade me customer service for assistance on the trade and what the seller is telling you. and/ or you should go to the listing page capture screen shots where the seller had provided the ping payment option and contact trade me regarding what the seller is now telling you. Based on how trade me advises you, you can then contact your bank regarding next steps on the payment that is on hold.
You can still prevent people on forums from accessing your selling profile and your listings: 1. Click your name 2. Click edit Profile and Enter an Alias in the form, you can prevent anyone from visiting your selling profile and again prevent them from engaging in fake listing reporting.

Thank you! Callum, my lisiting images are showing from bid bud but none from trade me. The bid bud lisitings however are from November. I am not sure what I am doing wrong.
Gone are the days when you could get bargains on Trade Me where people wanted to sell their old stuff at cheap rates. There are retail stores on Trade Me now that far outnumber the bargain buys. Most traders are here to make money. However you could make an offer for the Item you are interested in via Q & A and see if they will accept your offer.
I never place negative feedback on trades unless it is a complete no show (trader buys and then does a ghost on you). If there is something that annoys me about the trader i just don't place any feedback. 1. set clear terms under each listing. I have always had trade me remove unfair feedback - 2. you have to produce evidence that you have contacted the trader (promptly) after the auction/ listing has ended. 3. you have contacted the seller/ buyer before placing any feedback and about anything that is wrong about the trade 4. retain all emails and communication including text messages exch...
There is a code of conduct that all traders are expected to comply with on Trade Me. https://help.trademe.co.nz/hc/en-us/articles/360007265051-Code-of-conduct. If you are witnessing or experiencing disrespectful behaviour, you have every right to contact Trade Me and report the trader to trade me with proper evidence of their comments and behaviour. Trade Me will handle the rest.
appreciate the help! Thank You!
