Well I've reached out to TM, first they said to wait 2 days for the buyer to make contact (no contact was made), I've asked them to refund the listing fee but instead they've just told me I should be able to relist the vehicle for free (I can't). What a pain. It would appear TM doesn't even know how their own system works. On a side note, does TM actually reply to the customersupport@trademe.co.nz email address? I sent a message through the site via the Help message system, got a reply from TM through that, replied back via email and never heard back.
Evening Why was my classified vehicle listing automatically withdrawn by Trademe after I accepted an offer? The whole point of classified listings is to be able to leave them up until such time as the vehicle is officially sold and payment has been received (like it says here: https://www.trademe.co.nz/c/motors/article/what-is-a-classified-car-listing ). It's the only way to weed out the time wasting numpties that would otherwise bid/buy now vehicles and not follow through on the trade. Also, why is the item now listed as "Unsold"?
