Haha, honestly, really ... just a money grab. On my private account states "we have pre selected Ping to make the process easier for you" on the "free" clothing and home & living categories. Gee thanks TM, so thoughtful

As I understand from my experience, the "actual" name on the account needs to be correct.  I recently had to pay something in the high thousands and kept saying partial match.  I did not pay until I had the "account Name" and a full match. At the end of the day, the payer is going to be out of pocket if the payment goes up the creek.  Perhaps traders who want to keep anonymous need to open a new account only for Trade Me with a basic account name. 

Sometimes I look to see who the watchers are to see if it is worth to offer or relist - I 99% relist as I find I have the same watchers watching - perhaps they are watching as they may have something similar and want to see how it sells or I'm too expensive and waiting for me to lower the price, who knows.  I've also noticed once I have relisted and the listing is live, I'll get emails regarding the same listings either asking for a fixed price offer or a relist - thought that couldn't happen once the listing is live?  Is it a glitch.    I just do what suits me now.  Just ignore the watcher...
