I got hold of the seller. They report they can’t offer a buy now, seemingly as part of the same fault. I’m feeling certain it’s a trademe system bug

Re: your email questions, Michelle: Using Bidbud through Safari and Trademe app V238.0 on up-to-date iPhone, but it’s been happening for at least two months. I know I can’t bid through Bidbud for auctions on the new system but it can still see them and add them to my watchlist. As mentioned, I’m not using the desktop site when I’ve experienced these issues. No VPN or ad blocker. Most recently happened on this auction...
Thanks for your reply, Michelle. I can hardly use the desktop or mobile versions of the website on my phone, so I’ve been using the app where I can. I do also use Bidbud for listings on the old system. The listing was in my watchlist on Bidbud (where I could not bid) and as displayed by the Trademe app this morning, and gone on both by this evening, and this has happened several times only to auctions that seem to be on the new system. Apologies if I’m misunderstanding what you’re saying
Hi there, I hope I’m not doubling up on an existing post. I’ve found that since the new platform came into effect that some items disappear from my watchlist. I’m definitely not removing them. Has anyone else experienced this? I’m sure it’s some kind of bug but I don’t know why it’s happening.
