after years of so-called improvements TradeMe is still blocking offers to watchers... no reason given why for some and not for others... messing up the auction system for the time being, annoying more and more people. wonder whether we will ever see an improvement under current management and overseas owners of trademe
as this an increasingly troublesome improvement by trademe IT staff why not stop it now and not wait until next year..
i too had problems finding some of my listings. but i discovered them after extensive and time wasting search. in recent week trademe has not been able to list my goodies in the right order of dates. even kindergarden kids could do that. strangely our friends at trademe cant do simple things like this. so sad.
sadly you are not the only one experiencing these new and increasing problems. i too could not add that feature (invite an offer) in many recent listings. i also noted that more often now the list of watchers disappears when closing down so i cannot offer my goodies.... and questions remain either unanswered by the trademe system 'developers' or some excuses are listed repeatedly with no improvement in sight. so sad.
the good news is you are not alone with these problems.. the really bad news is that the trademe system is getting worse by the day. i too have experienced these latest problems in recent weeks (never before in over ten years) and to make it worse even when one part of the system tells you that there are watchers when the listing comes to a close all these disappear.. so no chance to make an offer .. most disappointing indeed.. and various notes to the trademe system have not resulted in any improvements i also sent screen shots several times but sadly these always result in some rather str...
yeah, strange things are happening with the trademe system at present. even the watcher details disappear at the end of some auctions, sometimes you cant do a quick relist, sometimes photos are shown in a different shape and size, some listings show zero watchers and views in the summary table but when checking each individual page there are plenty. after more than ten years with trademe this is the worse yet. yes, sadly i do not have time to waste for hours to wait for a live chat which only will defend the latest trademe 'improvements'
I have noticed that since trademe started recently to 'improve" their system often the photos submitted are not presented in the same size/style or order. how can you stop trademe changing things like this. the recent 'improvements' are bad enough...
