If they are less than 20mm thick, then you can send them via nz post using stamps - $4.60. The cheapest but note they are not tracked
It does update the auctions. I updated my shipping due to NZ posts 1/7 increases. I use my products and a template for shipping for most. I checked the actual auction where I had updated the template and it was changed instantly. The others that use the same shipping template can take a bit longer depending on how many listings use it
I would try askng a question on the auction, just to see if you do get any reply. I find some traders poor communication post sale but do actually answer auction questions
Was this a private sale or from a car dealer or someone intrade? If from a car dealer or intrade, then yes. If from a private sale then its a bit more tricky. Unfortunately this is the risk of buyng secondhand. Did you get a pre purchase inspection or check the car prior to purchase? Was there any mention of faults on the auction? Was it listed "as is where is"? If the seller has mislead you, then you may be entitled to some compensation. One of the complications is the length of time you've had it - the seller has no idea how you have treated it since then. The best thing is to contact the...
And don't ship the item until you have full payment including the postage costs.
Hi gwtm33 Callum's advice about getting the buyer to bring it back to check is good. In my experience, too many people these days claim something doesn't work either cause they aren't using it properly OR they are trying to get it free/cheap. I always insist on it being returned prior to any refunds so I can check. Funny how the problem goes away when you ask for that
Thanks S!
If you're intrade yes you will have ping enabled and you can't deselect it. You can also use cash. If you are not intrade, you are not forced to use ping. I see your 2 auctions listed don't have ping on them
The password you use is your trademe password. So if you can log onto trademe using the password then it should work for your buy now.
@ftankmachine - you can't remove the ping account as its attached to all members, but if you are not intrade just remove it as a payment option AND ensure its not preselected when you list a new item
