Garry.My suggestions for two accounts is for simplicity and greatly reduces any chance of confusion between accounts AND you can access both accounts at the same time on the same computer without having to switch logons.It also greatly reduces any problems with TM Cookies getting confused/ corrupted
Yea had a few of those, First email is pretty obvious that it's a scam simply because TM has never in 24 years, sent an email like that, directing you to an outside link for deposit details etc.With TM, the first email has always been confirmation of sale and everything else is done via email either direct with the buyer/ seller or your own bank account.This scam process feels a lot like they have borrowed from the likes of paypal etc, where you need to logon to the credit company (paypal/ western union etc) confirm the deposit, separate to the site where you made the purchase.TM on the oth...
Yea that "Non communicative" buyer thing also backfires for sellers when TM ask for proof the item was delivered, so you supply the courier weblink and they won't accept it because theres no personal confirmation from the buyer that they did receive it BUT, the buyer won't reply to emails
I have had it worse then that.Buyer places grumpy negative but with a promise of change/ remove when sorted.I place a passive neutral and the buyer gets it removed.Tm typically responds with something like ..... Sorry but we can't remove the feedback in this case as it doesn't go against our community standards, the buyer is just expressing their opinion. And no comment about the buyer getting my passive neutral feedback removed
At one point, Tm would reword specific feedback to remove swear words etc , but I can see how that may have backfired a few times.
Oh yea and the 45 day bit sucks, some disputes can take longer then a month to sort out and then theres the situation when feedback is changed a few months later (it's over 45 days since first placed) .
Garry.You missed....Will the courier driver even turn up today... I 100% disagree with having to show which courier will be used.It 'almost' appears that TM won't show the full list of couriers available unless they get a cut somehow.My most regular courier doesn't appear in that list and they are not a small firm but are in fact part of Freightways which owns about 6 different delivery firmsI have had people refuse to buy items after specifying which courier I will be using and others bluntly specify FOR ME which one they want used. Hi S,That was a few years ago.On the other hand, I recently had a parcel delivered & the courier supplied 6 photo's ....... of other peoples parcels for the same building, but not my parcel.Following up on that now
Callum,Yep getting good at email screen shots along with feedback screen shots & assorted other information but it's very hit/miss as to whats going to work.A buyer that failed, even had a neutral removed that simply stated the basic facts about why it failed, & yet, no personal information, no swearing, no defamation (all facts), TM won't explain why & won't reinstate it but won't remove his snappy feedback off my account.
With my latest situation, I now have GPS tags within the 3 very separate houses in the location plus with the correct house number showing as well & the courier company is following up with the driver, so I may yet, get this one dealt with properly but can't claim on it because it's already a month since sent & the buyer only just let me know via feedback.Plenty of other feedback where the buyers feedback declared they would change it after parcel delivery, but they don't often do it (of course) & TM won't help.Theres another feedback from long ago where the buyer openly just did it to P^ss...
