Sending anything OUT of NZ is at a horrendous cost compared to receiving from overseas. Then theres the customs declarations etc from both NZ and the receiving country. Some countries have very picky and specific attitudes/ regulations about how an item is described which can invoke customs investigations.Had this before where I described an item by it's true original name but should have used a different variation name of that product.Took them 3 weeks to get it sorted and any nearly cost me an extra $300 to get the item released for delivery. Some traders simply don't want to have to deal wi...
Gary, been there done that many times, doesn't help most days.I can screen shot & fully document the entire process and still get the std "At face value, the member is merely expressing their concerns surrounding the trade"One of my reds is tame enough but the emails received got to the point where the police went to visit the buyer but Tm still left the red there because strictly speaking it was "At face value, the member is merely expressing their concerns surrounding the trade"
Once upon a time, there use to be an option for "unfair feedback" but thats long gone now.
"In fact, expounding further on the above if I was a senior person on the staff of this platform, and conversant with the issues discussed within this thread"***********I would have fired a good chunk of the "programmers" & had stern words with the rest of the "programming staff"This specific thread was started over 6 months ago & the problems are still not fixed properly(sad fact is that applies for most of the "upgrade" so far)
Adding ANY extra costs to the start price simply makes the item seem dearerUsing third party shipping systems such as BAC, never allow for packaging costsSame with using NZ Post prepaid bags, because they are stamped with the delivery price, buyers often get upset when you charge anything above the price of the bag.If TM included BAC with the ability to add packaging costs to the delivery fee, TM will add that to the total cost & apply their fee percentage to that as well, (Same as Intrade gets stuck with sale fee % covering sale AND shipping charge for fee total)Personally, the only real w...
StuffitallHad a lot of gripes all listed & typed out but it's all just too dang frustratingTM has now become over 4 times more work just for the same exact items to list & manage, never mind the extra confusion sorting it all out). The entire process is NOT USER FRIENDLY for sellers & without sellers, theres no buyers
Right, a possible solution at least in the short term & forget about the templatesOnce you have created your listing & used the custom shipping options, Duplicate the auction & re-edit the detailsNot tried it yet to see if the custom shipping options will carry through without a duplication process
Yea enjoy it while you can. TM are actively removing all links to the old website over the next couple of months
HI Michelle, why can we not search auction with "P" numbers. Buyers and sellers are advised by Trademe to use the auction "P" numbers in the internet banking reference and email communication, but when you search your sold items (or any category) with "P" number it doesn't come up with the auction. I have to use the listing number to find the auction. This has been a major problem for awhile now, I often have buyers emailing me for combined postage for multiple auctions and they are quote the auction "P" numbers and I cannot find the auctions.
The more time sellings have to spend onsite, costs TM and their website hosts more bandwidthThe more time sellings spend on sorting sales, costs sellers more wages etc for doing the same exact job that we did 5 years ago. Most of the "new look/ Mobile" website changes make no real sense when it comes to productivity
