Yep but as you know, the original P number listing details don't always match up to the buyers email address or even their name.Either way, TM NEED to get this sorted a lot faster then previous history. The new site looks pretty, but is costing me at least 4 times more work to do the same exact job.Pretty yes, faster = Yea NAH ...,It's at least 4 more clicks per listing function, multiply that by what ever number of functions you need to do per listing.A great example is the two listing systemsStd listing system verses My Products = 7 page clicks verses One page
Yep, this old issue is STILL HERE.Most of TM is on compulsory address at purchase time, Except Auction listings.TM claims it's because of people placing a bid this week on an auction but moving location later in the week as they travel around NZ and need to constantly change a delivery address. It's a real pain because I have to go back in to emails to find IF they sent the address and then write it manually on a printout or email them to get an address etc etc
Paul,This happens in all web communication systems and generally all media systems from time to time.Trademe is not alone in this problem.Sale /repairs/ auctions/ and a lot of other business's, even those that don't deal with the public at all, get this happening.99% of the time, it is the user being distracted for whatever reason and not seeing the clues.Eg: Seems too good for the price/ serviceGrammer/ sentance construction. spelling if wrong ;-)Pushy tacticsCountdown for end of sale countersSuper flash websitesCrazy cheapOdd email addressMissing or dead links to important information100%...
The only emails I get from Trademe, are the ones I selected.Plenty of options available, so Nope, not a reasonable excuse.
LOL, yea "TM to do list"like fixing the search systemMaking the site printer friendly (print what you see, not 5 times more pages)
Hi S.Yea never a problem for me but it's another indication of how screwed up TM has become.Stats for a few various websites that I either own or help out with all show about 80% of users are on cell phones. Will pass that information onwards but it's probably not of any use when so many people ONLY have a cell phone
Got another one of those promises to remove bad feedback (in the feedback) and this one states they can't find how to delete it.Theres a few of those as well (some are in the feedback / some in email promises)
Garry. My suggestions for two accounts is for simplicity and greatly reduces any chance of confusion between accounts AND you can access both accounts at the same time on the same computer without having to switch logons. It also greatly reduces any problems with TM Cookies getting confused/ corrupted
Yea had a few of those, First email is pretty obvious that it's a scam simply because TM has never in 24 years, sent an email like that, directing you to an outside link for deposit details etc. With TM, the first email has always been confirmation of sale and everything else is done via email either direct with the buyer/ seller or your own bank account. This scam process feels a lot like they have borrowed from the likes of paypal etc, where you need to logon to the credit company (paypal/ western union etc) confirm the deposit, separate to the site where you made the purchase.TM on the oth...
Yea that "Non communicative" buyer thing also backfires for sellers when TM ask for proof the item was delivered, so you supply the courier weblink and they won't accept it because theres no personal confirmation from the buyer that they did receive it BUT, the buyer won't reply to emails
