philkerri - There are quite a few people that should be 'In Trade" but are not. Have reported them multiple times and TM do nothing which anoys the hell out of me. They have gotton away with not paying fees for years.
harm_less. I see you are correct. Not meant to be this way. They said only new listings would have the mandatory PING payment imposted. So angry with TM and this stupid rule.
So I am able to have the bank deposit option on auctions that I relist only. But have to manually relist (edit) and have to click the option of bank deposit when it normally was already ticked previously before the new rule came in. If I do a quick auto relist, only the Ping option is available and if I list a new item, only Ping is the option. So is this possible the case with the ones referred to previously?
Glad to know I am not the only one having issues with postage costs. Due to my free max listing allowance only being 50, I often only list my items for 3 or 4 days so I can have them roll over faster so items do not drop off my unsold items. Have been noticing lately that my postage options are not available and they try to get me to enter courier costs. I have to confirm the listing and then go back and edit in order to get my own postage costs show. I also often get to the end of relisting and I either get no confirmation of it being relisted just blank white page or I get and error mess...
Latest email sent today to non In Trade members encouraging them to use Ping. Guessing they are not backing down.
'Your voices are important to us and as always we listen to and take on your constructive feedback. However, our commitment remains to ensure Trade Me is the safest, most trusted, and most successful platform for you to sell on.' What a complete crock. If our voices were important we would have been asked before this decision was made so that we could have our say. So basically saying that 'In Trade' members are the least trusted and some how by us getting paid via Ping is successful for us? This is a joke. We loose out the most.. There are a lot of general traders out there with really ba...
Not happy with the decision at all and like many have others have said, some of us 'In Trade' barely sell anything anyway and have to pay a high fees, add to that the fee for postage when that is not something we make a profit on (or should be making a profit on) it is a cost that just has to be charged. WILL TRADE ME CATCHING OUT ALL THOSE THAT ARE CLEARLY IN TRADE THAT DO NOT DECLARE IT? I HAVE REPORTED OVER A DOZEN IN THE LAST FEW YEARS WHO ARE CLEARLY IN TRADE (CAN CLEARLY BEEN SEEN THROUGH THEIR FEEDBACK WHERE THEY PURCHASE AND THEN SEEL) AND DO NOT HAVE TO PAY THE FEES THAT WE DO AND ...
Glad to know I am not the only one feeling this way. I think we all need to start complaining to the CC about these traders and even Trade Me as they are not really enforcing rules they put in place to stay in line with CC rules. They seem to like enforcing some rules but not others. Most of us have been with Trade Me for many years, I personally have been there nearly from the beginning and have be a good seller contributing to TM wealth for many years.Any like you say (and I have also done the same in some of my correspondence), they always seem to favour the general seller/buyer than thos...
Thanks so much. I don't even sell that much these days but still have to pay extra in fees and see them selling huge amounts at standard fees. Also annoying because I tried to open up another account to sell my own personal stuff and that was shut down within weeks and yet has gone on for months.
Hi there, Thanks for your response. I am reporting these via the Community Watch: report this listing and selecting that this trader should be in trade. I have been reporting them for months (since at least the beginning of the year) and some times multiple times in a week. They are definitely in trade as I have bid against them myself and if you go back through their feedback you can see all the purchases and even match them to their current listings. As an example one trader has 7000 items listing under this particular category. Some have hundreds and others have thousands. How can they ...
