Too late - the seller withdrew the bike and sold it privately (I found out). So TM missed out on their cut and all they had to do was email the seller and say they have an interested party, do you want their details? So, no personal info passed. There was a way - TM are just caught up in their own legal BS. And they don't care, being a multimillion $$ business. Thank you for the comments anyway, all of you.
Thanks - already tied the further listing trick; he has none. Wasn't keen on the decline as a relist may not occur. TM suggested I buy and then don't pay, but then contact him and ask for a view first. Stupid method but there you go.Best way to get a red face.
TM won't contact a seller for me. They have explained why, so I don't need a repeat of their policies. It's just that it makes no economic sense. I am looking at a 16k bike and want to view it first. I was having dialogue with the seller and then got Covid. I missed asking for a view and a test ride. So, a week later I asked for a relist as he didn't relist. What i got was an offer to accept or decline. Well, I don't want to do either until I've see the bike. Not savvy to part with 16K based on a few images.
